P H O T O G R A P H Y
Inspiration is everywhere. I have always loved photography as a way visually journaling inspiration. I am forever snapping pictures everywhere I go, recording what I see, whatever moves me at the time. Nature is always my favorite thing to capture, but I love objects, both natural and man-made. I see them for their color, form, shape, texture and line, over the subject matter. Shadows and rain droplets thrill me. I love the texture of rust and peeling paint. A pile of garbage or a crack in the sidewalk can be as beautiful to me as a sunset. Macro photography tends to be a theme in my photographs. I love getting up close and seeing the part of a flower or an old facade that most people would never notice. These collages are a sampling of my visual inspiration journals.
