Happy Easter

Easter is a Time of Renewal...

It also marks the beginning of spring. This year, spring is not only a reawakening from the chill of winter, it is a reemerging out of the darkness of the pandemic. Yes we still need to abide by the CDC and social distance guidelines, wear masks etc., but as we all get vaccinated, we can resume a more normal life. We can hug our parents and grandparents and see close friends again. It is truly a new beginning. My favorite childhood memory of Easter is decorating Easter eggs. Yes, I am Jewish, as most of you know, but half of my family is Italian and every year we would spend Christmas and Easter at my great Aunt Mary's house. My sister and I would dye eggs in all different colors with food coloring. My father, who was also an artist, would draw the most amazing doodles and designs on them in Flair markers, and we would try and copy him as best we could. Maybe that's where I get my doodling inspiration from!
